About Us

Our design studio, which began in 1977, has been involved in a variety of design projects through the years - residential, commercial, and health care.  Our focus has primarily been for residential clients, although we have been the interior designers chosen many times to create the proper environment for a professional office.

Due to having been the interior designers for a number of long term health care facilities (including retirement homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes) we are concious of the aspects of designing a home for an individual to "age in place".  This has led us to use the concepts of Universal Design, which is "the design of spaces to be as usable as possible by as many people as possible , regardless of their physical ability".  Universal Design creates design solutions that are both aesthetically pleasing and accessible for all people.

During a remodeling or building project, we guide our clients through the design process with the goal of making the experience less stressful.  In addition to providing aesthetically appealing environments, we listen to our clients to hear how the spaces will be used.  We want to create environments for our clients that satisfy their specific needs and desires.
